- Searching - Search with Swagbucks like you would any other search engine, but only search until you earn a swagbuck. Then switch to another search engine because you can be penalized for over searching. Search in the morning, in the afternoon and before bedtime. Some days you just don't win as many swagbucks, that's just the way it is. I find that it doesn't really matter what search terms you use, I have won with a short term like "blue feather" and a long term like "how to lay a new kitchen floor". You can win anywhere from 1 to 5 swagbucks.
- Special Offers - Lately every Thursday there is a new code worth 1 swagbuck posted in the No Obligation offers. Just skip thru each offer, unless there is one you really want to sign up for, until you get to the screen with the swagcode. Copy the swagcode and enter it in the spot on the home page to claim your swagbuck.
- Daily Swagcode Hunt - Usually every day TSG(The Swag Guy) will post a hint or a code somewhere either on the toolbar, the blog, a twitter post, flickr,Facebook fanpage, swidget or in a youtube video. Finding the code is as much fun as getting the swagbucks! Click on the swidget swagcode button to see if there is a swagcode available to find or check out the Facebook fanpage, if you see "Thanks TSG" then you know there is an active code to find. The codes are usually timed so you need to act fast! They are usually only worth 1 swagbuck but they can be worth more.
- Mega Swagbuck Friday - On Friday, they give out larger swagbuck amounts for search terms. Make sure you search on Fridays so you don't miss out!
- Featured Shops - Shop online with one of their featured shops and earn 1 swagbuck for every $5 you spend. They are partnered with all the big stores like Walmart, iTunes, Macy's, Footlocker, etc.
- Refer your friends - get your friends to sign up and you will win 1 swagbuck for every swagbuck they win through searching. You only get credit up to 100 swagbucks.
Other Ways To Earn - Some of the less popular ways to earn swagbucks are to make a video of yourself opening a prize you claimed, submit a poll, and recycle an old cellphone.
